Vb6 To Net Upgrade Error Fix 02.12.08
I upgraded my VB6 code to NET 2005 code. Obviously it was not 100% successful because of compatibility issues.Thee upgrade also generated an HTML “UpgradeReport” file, which document the errors/warnings that cause the transformation not to be complete. This outline all the errors/warnings and give the instructions, and sometimes code snippets to substitute. Of cource you already know that. i have dabbled in programming and could do this myself, except that i need this done relatively soon. Therefore I need an experienced NET programmer who will be able to do this in a minimum of time.
i will send a copy of the VBNET upgrade files and also a copy of the running VB6 program to compare the final result. I expect the NET code to function exactly as the VB6 program or even better if possible (if a copy of the VB6 source code is needed, i will make available also). The end result should not contain any warning or errors and will compile in any NET compiler. The transformation is in VB NET 2005, but i will also accept it done in the 2008 version. I am currently doing some enhancements to this application and if a good job is done with this part, i will possibly award the rest of the work to same.
