Freelance Project

We are looking for someone that can create a web portal where our students can edit/update their email address we have stored for them in our database.

(We already have a mySql database configured with our student data.)

We would like to add a custom link in our eNewsletters that would give the student access to do this or unsubscribe to the emails.

The link could contain their unique student id and email address to be sent to a JSP that would then process and present them with an html portal which would grab their student name from the database and welcome them to the portal and give them the options of staying on the mailing list or editing their email we have in our database.

It should function like an email sent from www.constantcontact.com

A log of any updates or changes made by the students should be recorded in a text file to be accessed if needed.

This is the first step that we would like to add to our Student Portal (and need to implement by early next week) but will have many more projects that will build off of this one (if we find the right programmer) so our students can register online and view their current class schedule etc.

I can provide the mySql querys to get and update the students email info from our database.

I will also need help to upload the final project and possibly configure the Tomcat6 on the server that hosts our database.

Please do not respond to this job if you have not programmed a site similar to the one we are requesting. This project should be a piece of cake for someone that knows what they are doing.
