Quick Image Edit Ii 10.10.08
I posted this project yesterday, chose a winner, and think maybe I need to start again. Please look at this image intended as a book cover design:

It's a rough layout - nowhere near good enough for press. I need a few improvements made to the layout so it can be used as a sample. I don't need a final, printer-ready file, just a JPG. I have the original image. I'd like to get this done:
* Better fonts. The ones used are generic and dull.
* Better balance. The '3' in the gold box is overpowering.
* Better banner. The one there is too big and the wrong color.
Obviously, I'm happy to look at other creative changes as well, but the basic job here is to improve what already exists, per the above.
When you bid, please upload a sample of how you'd improve the cover. You can watermark it, shrink it, do whatever you like to protect yourself; but I need to see a sample before I select another programmer.
