Monitoring Web Sites Script 02.12.08
ok i am looking for a python, ruby or php expert that can also work with Jquery to create a simple system to monitor my client web sites.
there are basicly 2 page:
on page one you have a simple admin interface where you can add a site giving it a name and a URL, you can also remouve or edit allready added web sites.
on page 2 you have a dashboard view of all the web sites using some ajax magic. On each line version of the site is writen (you get this information from a special page on all the diffrent web site the page itsel is alway the same only the version number change) and a status online or not.
i can look at this page see all my client (60 or so) the version of my scritp they are runnig and if the site is up or down. also include contact information for the site like he name of the local admin, telephoen number and a infrastructure field where i can take notes about the setup they use (type of server, network etc)
i dont have the time to code this and it should be a simple project
