I have a website template that scrapes Baseball Ticket listings from stubhub.com and displays the results on my website. Here is an example – http://baseballticketsoaklandathletics.info/

I need someone to modify my template to scrape Concert Tickets from stubhub.com and display the results on my website.

The Concert Ticket listing on stubhub.com is a little different than the Baseball Tickets. I need the listings scraped by location (city/state). It seems stubhub.com loads the location selection on their website using Javascript. So the script you modify would have to cURL the infomation on stubhub.com and work with their javascript.

WHAT I CURRENTLY HAVE

I have a website that was coded using html, php, ajax. The site currently scrapes baseball game ticket listings from StubHub.com every 15 minutes using a cron job and displays the results on my website.

The site I currently have is this…

The above site pulls the information from…

http://www.stubhub.com/oakland-athletics-tickets/

My website only pulls the first few listings when you load the site, and then if you scroll using the scrollbar the ajax loader loads the additional listings. This is done to ensure google doesn’t see the site as “spammy” with too many outgoing links on page load.

I want to use my existing template as shown above, however I plan to create a lot of “concert tickets” websites. I need my template above modified to pull the information (by state/city) from stubhub.com for concert tickets. So instead of displaying baseball game listings, I want my websites to display concert tickets.

The only issue that needs to be taken into consideration is that StubHub.com doesn’t have a “static URL” for location specific concert tickets. So when you cURL StubHub.com for the city/state (location) specific concert tickets you will need to understand StubHub.com uses “cookies” to identify what location you want concert tickets displayed for.

For example… To get a listing of state/city specific concert tickets you must go to StubHub.com / Click Change Location in the header / Then Click Concert Tickets / and you will be shown concert tickets for that particular city.

Example of information I want to pull from StubHub.com and display on my website for the city “Los Angeles” Concert Tickets:

I need to take the above information from that screenshot and display it on my website.

I plan on making a separate website for every city StubHub.com lists for concert tickets. Example:
losangelesconcerttickets.com
sanfranciscoconcerttickets.com
chicagoconcerttickets.com
Etc…

I want the ability to cURL (scrape) ALL CITIES on stubhub.com for concert tickets. So I need to make sure you provide me the code for each location (city/state). I can provide you with my existing source for my baseball website and you can make changes as needed. The code is very clean already and documented very well. You just will have to spend some time cURLing the new “concert tickets” sections and modifying my table on my website to display the concert ticket listing in a nice manner.

I do not need graphics/flash work done. I will do that myself.
